Behavioral Health Consulting

MCPartners Inc. (MCP) provides consultative services to Behavioral Health facilities through the use of qualified consultants from around the country. These individuals all have extensive experience in their respective areas and are currently working in the field.

1.      Billing/Collections

        • Review all forms, policies and procedures and make recommendations.
        • Perform a complete review and analysis of Accounts Receivable
        • Perform a comprehensive compliance audit

2.      Third Party Contracts

        • Review all agreements and recommendations
        • Develop criteria for review of future agreements
        • Pursue other agreements

3.      Information flow

        • Between Business Office, Medical Records and Clinical areas and make recommendations

4.      Lost Revenue

        • Implement system to capture lost revenue and rebill.
        • Propose new sources of patient revenue
           
    • Accounting

1.      Audit previous cost reports and make recommendations

2.      Negotiate with fiscal intermediary

4.      Develop cost of service analysis

a.      Need incremental costs to evaluate future third party agreements

1.      Perform salary surveys in the competitive area and make recommendations to make them competitive.

2.      Benefit surveys in the competitive area and make recommendations for changes.

3.      Benefit analysis to insure that current benefit providers are competitive. Includes introduction of approved vendors.

4.      Review recruitment process and make recommendations.

5.      Analyze staff turnover and make recommendations

6.      Perform employee satisfaction survey and make recommendations

7.      Review all job descriptions for completeness and compliance and make recommendations.

8.      Review employee evaluation process and merit increase system and make recommendations.
